Ginealach Ùr was a celebration of the next generation of performers and the inspirational mentors and teachers who provide encouragement and inspiration for them. The event featured some of the finest performers in contemporary Gaelic and traditional music.

Mischa Macpherson: award-winning Gaelic singer and musician.
We were delighted to welcome for the first time special guest Adam Holmes.
These talented singers were accompanied by three of the finest musicians on the traditional music scene: multi-instrumentalist Mike Vass, percussionist Signy Jakobsdottir and pianist James Ross.
Pupils of the Glasgow Gaelic School. Especially for this event, Ceòl ’s Craic commissioned Mischa Macpherson to undertake a series of workshops with a group of aspiring young vocalists from Glasgow’s Gaelic School.
